REFEREES

SWYSC Referee Academy

There are two streams available for officiating with SWYSC:

1) Game Leader - must be at least 12 years of age as of March 31, 2019 - game leads U7 and U8 games. This provides an introduction for soccer players to transition in becoming a entry level match official after one year as a game leader.

2) Entry Level Match Official - Clinic is for those who would like to become an accredited match official for 9v9 and 11v11 games and are 14 years of age (by March 31st of the current year) and older. Successful graduates are automatically registered with the Ontario Soccer and do not have to register again until the following year. For step-by-step instructions on how to register, please follow the 'Course Sign Up Guide' below.  For more information regarding the clinic details, please visit the Entry Level Clinic Brochure.

Those who were Game Leaders in 2018 will have priority in taking 2019 Entry Level Match Official Clinic that we offer, as they are considered to be returning officials.
